Maikel Mankarious, M.D., joined Rolling Oaks Radiology after completing MRI fellowship training at UC San Diego School of Medicine in 2013. Dr. Mankarious had previously completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Boston Medical Center and receive a medical degree from the CDU/David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
As a medical student, Dr. Mankarious served from 2003-2005 as class president of the CDU/UCLA Medical Education Program. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Mankarious has demonstrated his commitment to volunteering, for example, by working for international medical relief organizations and teaching multi-modality imaging at the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Mankarious has presented at numerous meetings of professional medical associations, including the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Society of Pediatric Imaging.
Prior to beginning his medical career, Dr. Mankarious received a Bachelor of Arts in biology from University of California Los Angeles and a Masters of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Dr. Mankarious is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
